Latinia increases its commitment to Latin America in CL@B 2009

Latinia, in its firm commitment toward the Latin American market is attending, during these few days, the 9th Strategic Conference of Technology and Financial Marketing (CL@B) of Miami. This is the main place for meeting and exchanging practical cases between bankers and leading technology and financial marketing executives from Latin America.

Under the title of “Technology and marketing equals productivity and efficiency”, close to 1,000 attendees are debating during these few days about strategies, trends and technological tools that are being implemented in the financial services industry. Latinia, through its top executive in the region, Francesc Perez, will state the main success factors to carry out a good SMS banking strategy, while addressing the software manufacturer’s experience of almost 10 years in Spain.

CL@B has positioned itself as the most important Latin American financial conference for new technologies. The event is organized annually in different countries under the sponsorship of the Latin American Federation of Banks, FELABAN, an institution that in turn brings together all banking associations in Latin America and several different international institutions such as SWIFT, VISA and FIBA (Florida International Bankers Association).

On this occasion, CL@B 2009 will be attended by renowned experts on cutting-edge technology issues. This is in order to present creative solutions to the interrelation that must exist between marketing and efficient use of the different information technologies and communications (ITC). It will also have nearly 1,000 attendees from more than 30 countries, among them presidents, vice-presidents, technology directors, marketing mangers, financial vice-presidents and operations managers, among others.

Latinia started its expansion in the Latin American region last year, starting its activity in Mexico. Latinia already has some customers in the region such as Banco Santander in Puerto Rico (BSPR), or Telefónica Internacional (TISA), to whom it supplies the mobile infrastructure for operating their messaging services.
