Latinia joins Oracle® PartnerNetwork

Latinia, a company specializing in middleware product software infrastructure, just formalized its entry to the Oracle® Partner Network. “Although our relationship on the one hand with Oracle and on the other with BEA was intense because of the concentration of some of their products in implementing our middleware solutions, after Oracle acquired BEA, it made more sense to unify both programs and manage the resources that it can supply us with more efficiency” stated Marc Alcón, Latinia’s CTO and the top executive of the vendor’s technological alliances.

“Latinia should not only look at a more optimum operation of our products but rather their evolutionary and adaptive maintenance requires always being ahead of the game with regard to the new releases that are being launched or are planned to be launched by the manufacturers we work with closely. In this case, having our sights set in the mid term on Oracle’s roadmap with its database family as the WebLogic application containers is an asset that our clients value enormously”, specified Alcón. An example of this cooperation has been the launch of Latinia’s latest service pack with the product already adapted and compatible with version 10.3 of WebLogic, the first release of the application server (AS) that arose after the acquisition of BEA by Oracle.
